Rajiv Tripathi joined the group as a postdoctoral researcher in March after the lab shutdown. Crazy times to start a new project! In spite of the challenges of starting a new job during a global pandemic, Rajiv has hit the ground running. We have been making the most of Zoom and online collaboration platforms to lay some solid ground work for his new research project on single cell gene regulatory network discovery. Rajiv has been splitting his time between planning experiments he'll do once we are back on campus, becoming versed in his new research area, and wrapping up some other projects in the lab that needed just a little more work to get out the door. He's doing great! I look forward to seeing what he'll accomplish once we are back in full swing.
